Simplifying the Licensure Process for State Boards
The Uniform Application for Licensure (UA) is a web-based application designed to enhance the nation’s state-based licensure system. The UA improves license portability by eliminating the need for physicians, physician assistants/associates (PAs) and resident applicants to re-enter information when applying for licenses in multiple states.
UA Fees and Process
A physician using the Uniform Application can send the same core licensure application to multiple participating state medical boards through one application. Completing the Uniform Application includes state board specific requirements and credentials verification information.
